Addictions
At WellBridge we realize being chemically dependent can be an overwhelming experience. Our
Live Well Recovery Program™ provides a safe and comfortable place to help our patients start
the recovery process and put their lives back together. For recovery to take place, it is
important to treat both the substance disorder and mental health disorder at the same time.

Admissions Process
All patients referred to the Live Well Recovery Program™ receive an extensive evaluation that
includes a substance abuse screening, examination by a psychiatrist, nursing assessment,
physical assessment and psychosocial assessment. Our treatment team will review all
information to develop each patient’s individualized treatment plan inclusive of both the
substance abuse and mental health issues.

Detoxification
Adults entering our program may be dependent on alcohol, marijuana, hallucinogens, opiates,
stimulates or benzodiazepines. The Live Well Recovery Program™ offers a safe withdrawal
process by providing a physician-driven, medically monitored detoxification that includes an
interdisciplinary staff of physicians, nurses and counselors.

Program Integration
After the detoxification process, participants in the Live Well Recovery Program™ start focusing

treatment on both the addiction and mental health disorder. Patients attend groups each day
dedicated to substance abuse using a proven recovery model that encourages patients to focus
on:
• maintaining the motivation to abstain
• coping with urges
• managing feelings and behaviors around their addiction
Each patient is unique and the length of treatment can vary from several days to one or two
weeks depending on the needs of the individual.

Ensuring continued success after discharge
Transition to aftercare is a critical part of the recovery process to help ensure each patient
maintains the progress achieved during the program. To help our patients manage their illness
after they’re discharged from the hospital, our team will help patients connect to the
WellBridge Intensive Outpatient Program, and/or community resources for support and
ongoing treatment, such as 12 Step programs, outpatient services or counseling.
At WellBridge, we are here for you. Whether you are dealing with a mental health and/or
addiction issue, or caring for someone who is, help is just a phone call away. Our multi-
disciplinary team is here 24/7 to answer questions and provide the care you need.

LIVE WELL, STAY WELL.
